The issue with a hallway laundry is it’s hard to keep your laundry neat and tidy. This solution was a sheer curtain covering the open shelves and white goods in a residential home in Preston that can be easily closed if you find yourself half way through folding the washing and guest drop in.

A grey charcoal layer on linen to soften an otherwise harsh space allows light to shine through keeping the idea of a larger space behind without closing off the hallway.
