Afloat Shipping Container cover

For the 2022 of the Afloat restaurant and Bar owned by the HQ hospitality group, the designers reached out with a problem, the Restaurants cuisine for the summer season was to be Spanish and the 3 shipping container floating kitchens needed a new cover which was to fit tightly without securing any fixings to the container.

I designed a waxed canvas cover for the façade of the kitchens with flaps for the hatches and tension points along the top and sides to attach the canvas cover to the rafters and deck.  The refreshed look of an industrial container to better fit the Spanish and Later in 2023 Mexican themed cuisine than the previous years vinyl decal. A unique application of waxed canvas that has(so far) lasted three years out in the elements
